Are you in doubt whether an important email that you sent was seen by your recipient or not? Everyone hates uncertainty, and we all have curiosity about whether your email has been read by the recipient. This article will discuss how to turn off read receipts in Gmail and how to open them.
We can let Gmail ask your recipient to send a receipt notification to you when they open your email.
Though, this feature is currently available only for Google Workspace as of now. Therefore, you can’t request a read receipt with an email that is not under Google Workspace, for example with email@example.com kind of emails.
Gmail read receipts work so that users get notifications from recipients who use Gmail and the other email systems that support read receipts. Though, some email systems will ask for the recipient’s approval before sending a read receipt notification to the sender of an email.
